Le message \u00e9tait clair :<\/p><p><strong>\"Si vous voyez un signe, Checkam !\"<\/strong><br \/>Bien qu'il s'agisse de la <strong>9\u00e8me cancer le plus fr\u00e9quent dans le monde<\/strong>Le cancer de la vessie reste largement m\u00e9connu au Nigeria. Presque toutes les personnes \u00e0 qui nous avons parl\u00e9 ont dit la m\u00eame chose :<br \/><em>\"Nous connaissons le cancer, mais nous n'avons jamais entendu parler du cancer de la vessie.<\/em><br \/>Cette m\u00e9connaissance est alarmante car <strong>la d\u00e9tection pr\u00e9coce sauve des vies<\/strong>.<\/p><p><strong>Pourquoi la sensibilisation au cancer de la vessie est-elle importante ?<\/strong><\/p><ul><li><strong>Plus de 610 000 nouveaux cas<\/strong> sont diagnostiqu\u00e9s chaque ann\u00e9e dans le monde.<\/li><li><strong>1,9 million de personnes<\/strong> vivent actuellement avec un cancer de la vessie.<\/li><li>Il s'agit de la <strong>13\u00e8me cause de d\u00e9c\u00e8s par cancer dans le monde<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><p>Au Nigeria, la d\u00e9tection tardive due \u00e0 <strong>connaissances limit\u00e9es et stigmatisation<\/strong> conduit \u00e0 <strong>des taux de mortalit\u00e9 \u00e9lev\u00e9s<\/strong>. Pourtant, lorsqu'elle est d\u00e9tect\u00e9e \u00e0 temps, la <strong>le taux de survie peut atteindre 90%<\/strong>.<\/p><p><strong>Des signes \u00e0 ne jamais ignorer<\/strong><\/p><ul><li><strong>Sang dans les urines (h\u00e9maturie)<\/strong> - Le signe d'alerte le plus courant.<\/li><li><strong>Mictions fr\u00e9quentes ou douloureuses<\/strong> - Surtout en l'absence d'infection.<\/li><li><strong>Douleur dans le bas du dos ou dans le bassin<\/strong> - G\u00eane persistante.<\/li><li><strong>Urgence sans soulagement<\/strong> - Besoin d'uriner sans r\u00e9sultat.<\/li><\/ul><p>Si vous ou un de vos proches pr\u00e9sentez l'un de ces sympt\u00f4mes, <strong>consulter imm\u00e9diatement un m\u00e9decin<\/strong>. De nombreuses personnes sont reparties avec une nouvelle compr\u00e9hension du cancer de la vessie et la confiance n\u00e9cessaire pour <strong>prendre en charge leur
