Sintesi<\/strong><\/h3><p>Lo sfruttamento e l'abuso sessuale (SEA) sono problemi seri che minano la credibilit\u00e0 dell'assistenza umanitaria e degli sforzi di protezione. In Nigeria, dove le crisi umanitarie sono prevalenti a causa di conflitti, disastri naturali e sfide socio-politiche, il rischio di VAS \u00e8 maggiore. Il presente rapporto illustra i punti chiave del webinar \"Prevenire lo sfruttamento e l'abuso sessuale nel lavoro umanitario\", evidenziando la portata del problema, le strategie di prevenzione e le azioni da intraprendere per creare un ambiente pi\u00f9 sicuro e responsabile. <br \/>Il webinar \"Preventing Sexual Exploitation and Abuse in Humanitarian Work\" ha avuto l'obiettivo di sensibilizzare e discutere le strategie efficaci per prevenire le VAS in ambito umanitario in Nigeria. Hanno partecipato oltre 100 rappresentanti di ONG locali e internazionali, agenzie governative e leader delle comunit\u00e0. I risultati principali hanno evidenziato la prevalenza delle VAS nelle aree colpite da conflitti e gli ostacoli alla denuncia. Le discussioni hanno portato a raccomandazioni attuabili per rafforzare le politiche, migliorare i meccanismi di segnalazione e coinvolgere le comunit\u00e0 in campagne di sensibilizzazione. Sono stati sviluppati un piano d'azione e un quadro di monitoraggio per garantire l'effettiva attuazione delle strategie proposte.<\/p><h3><strong>2. Sfondo\/Contesto<\/strong><\/h3><p>Lo sfruttamento e l'abuso sessuale (Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, SEA) nel lavoro umanitario si riferisce a qualsiasi forma di abuso di potere a fini sessuali, in cui gli autori approfittano di individui vulnerabili a scopo personale. In Nigeria, in particolare nelle regioni colpite da conflitti come le zone nordorientali e centro-settentrionali, la VAS \u00e8 un problema pressante. La crisi umanitaria causata dall'insurrezione di Boko Haram e dai conflitti intercomunitari ha sfollato oltre 2,7 milioni di persone, rendendole suscettibili di sfruttamento.<br \/>Le statistiche indicano che oltre 30% di donne nei campi per sfollati interni hanno subito una qualche forma di violenza sessuale, e solo 10% di questi casi sono stati denunciati. Il rapporto dell'Ufficio nazionale di statistica del 2022 mostra un aumento di 22% dei casi di VAS in ambito umanitario rispetto all'anno
