Il messaggio era chiaro:<\/p><p><strong>\"Se vedete qualche segno, Checkam!\".<\/strong><br \/>Nonostante sia il <strong>9\u00b0 tumore pi\u00f9 comune a livello globale<\/strong>Il cancro alla vescica rimane largamente sconosciuto in Nigeria. Quasi tutti quelli con cui abbiamo parlato hanno detto la stessa cosa:<br \/><em>\"Conosciamo il cancro, ma non abbiamo mai sentito parlare di cancro alla vescica\".<\/em><br \/>Questa mancanza di consapevolezza \u00e8 allarmante perch\u00e9 <strong>La diagnosi precoce salva la vita<\/strong>.<\/p><p><strong>Perch\u00e9 la sensibilizzazione sul cancro alla vescica \u00e8 importante<\/strong><\/p><ul><li><strong>Oltre 610.000 nuovi casi<\/strong> vengono diagnosticati ogni anno a livello globale.<\/li><li><strong>1,9 milioni di persone<\/strong> stanno attualmente convivendo con il cancro alla vescica.<\/li><li>\u00c8 il <strong>13a causa di morte per cancro nel mondo<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><p>In Nigeria, la diagnosi tardiva dovuta a <strong>conoscenza limitata e stigma<\/strong> porta a <strong>alti tassi di mortalit\u00e0<\/strong>.
