L'aumento del numero di adolescenti che diventano madri prima dei 18 anni ha spinto l'organizzazione a chiedere un intervento rapido ed esteso da parte del governo nigeriano a vari livelli.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L'UNICEF ha sottolineato il suo impegno a investire un miliardo di dollari in Nigeria nei prossimi cinque anni per affrontare questa pressante crisi sanitaria. Eduardo Celades, responsabile della salute dell'UNICEF Nigeria, ha illustrato il profondo impatto della crisi sanitaria che colpisce la popolazione adolescente del Paese.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Secondo Eduardo Celades...<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Si prevede che una ragazza su 10 in Nigeria diventer\u00e0 madre prima dei 18 anni, con un impatto sproporzionato nelle regioni del Centro-Nord e del Nord-Ovest, dove si prevede che il 50% delle ragazze, in particolare in stati come Bauchi e Gombe, avr\u00e0 un figlio entro i 18 anni.<\/em><\/li>\n\n<li><em>\"Met\u00e0 delle ragazze adolescenti non riuscir\u00e0 a completare la scuola secondaria e uno sconcertante 43% \u00e8 gi\u00e0 sposato. In Nigeria, le gravidanze adolescenziali sono pi\u00f9 diffuse tra le donne con uno status socioeconomico inferiore.
