Mountain Hike for World TB Day: A Journey to Zero TB

Randonnée en montagne pour la Journée mondiale de la tuberculose : Un voyage vers la tuberculose zéro

mars 24 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm UTC+0

On 24th March, 2025, we invite you to join us in a unique and impactful event that combines the spirit of adventure with a global health mission. The Mountain Hike for World TB Day: A Journey to Zero TB is more than just a trek—it’s a symbolic journey toward eradicating tuberculosis (TB) worldwide.

The date marks the day in 1882 when Dr. Robert Koch announced that he had discovered the bacterium that causes TB, which opened the way towards diagnosing and curing this disease.

Global Tuberculosis Day serves as an important opportunity to inform the public about the widespread effects of TB across the globe. At Equitable Medicaid and Clinical Research, we collaborate with our partners and peers to highlight advancements in the prevention and treatment of tuberculosis. Collectively, we strive to bring attention to the obstacles that impede our efforts to eradicate this destructive illness.

Equitable Medicaid and Clinical Research, alongside its national and international allies, is committed to combating and ultimately eliminating this lethal disease through unified efforts.

Dress Code
Women can opt for stylish leggings paired with a personalized t-shirt, completing the look with comfortable canvas shoes or sleek sneakers. Meanwhile, men can go for sporty trousers combined with a custom-designed t-shirt, also complemented by either classic canvas shoes or modern sneakers.
